Twin artists, Lisa and Lori Lubbesmeyer, blend their backgrounds in painting and printmaking to create strong visual statements in fiber. The Lubbesmeyers use many layers of fabric and stitching to create the brushstrokes of their fiber "paintings", which at closer examination have intricate surface detail. Visit the Lubbesmeyer Twins in their working studio, and view their work which exemplifies their artistic range in varied subjects, including landscapes, architecture and still lifes. The Lubbesmeyers’ award winning work has been commissioned for private, public and corporate collections throughout the world.
