Explore the Columbia River Gorge
March 17 - Explore the Columbia River Gorge from 6-7:30pm. Waterfalls, wildflowers, and pristine wilderness! Maegan Jossy, Outdoor Program Coordinator for Friends of the Columbia Gorge, will explain what makes the beautiful and wild Columbia Gorge a place apart. Learn where to go hiking from short, family-friendly rambles to cascading waterfalls, sun-soaked eastern Gorge hillsides carpeted with wildflowers, or a strenuous trek to the summit of numerous peaks in the Gorge. March 29 - Bike Maintenance Basics from 6-7:30pm. If you ride a bike, you need this class! In this informative presentation you'll learn how to lube a chain, fix a flat tire in record time, and make other minor adjustments to your bike. No experience necessary! Register at REI Bend.
April 9 - GPS Training from 9am-12 noon. The local favorite GPS class taught by Kermit is back. For all of you who received a new GPS for the holidays or just need a refresher, this is the class for you! Kermit will familiarize you with your GPS, he'll cover the basics, how it works, teh different modes and much more. Sign up today, space is limited.
