Looking for what to do in Bend, Oregon? The Old Mill District mixes your love of shopping, dining, and the outdoors into one spectacular place. Bend is here!
The Fermentation Celebration—a beer walk beer in the Old Mill District—with hop filled tastings of Bend’s numerous local breweries. The 3rd Annual Fermentation Celebration takes place on Thursday, June 19 from 4-10pm. Live music from several local bands!
A sampling of what we’ll be pouring includes Oblivion Brewing Co.—Golden Aurora Ale is a light bodied golden ale made with whole flower Cascade hops. Bridge 99 Brewing—Rock Crawler Red offers up a smooth malty red with a spicy hop note.
Deschutes Brewery—Pinedrops IPA delivers a crisp and light malt body with ample citrus and pine notes from Chinook and experimental hops. Dopple Dinkel Distelhauser Collaboration has a generous amount of Dinkel (spelt) malt in place of traditional wheat malt. The result features aromas of bubblegum, banana, clove, citrus and slight spice.
We’ll have many more tasty beers and cider from Atlas Cider and Red Tank. Entry to the event is $20 and includes a FC glass and 9 tickets for 4 oz. pours at any location. Drink packages will be sold at the Ticket Mill the day of the event. Check back shortly for the full list of participating breweries and the local bands at the event. Yes, it is too good to be true!
The Fermentation Celebration is a family and pet-friendly event, but remember, it is centered around beer.
