Leadman Tri Bend
The inaugural Leadman Tri Bend will take place on Saturday, September 22. The main attraction for the weekend will include a swim voyage across Cultus Lake, a bike trek around Mount Bachelor and a run down the Deschutes River Trail. The Leadman Triathlon is the next evolution in endurance events which throws down a gauntlet of challenges for its participants.
The weekend of events will also include open water swim races, a kid’s race, relay challenges and live music. The finish line is in Center Plaza by the footbridge. The West Side Parking lot will be used as the transition area for the cycling to running leg of the triathlon and the nearby grass will have a expo with vendors.
There will be a Kids Fun Run (1K) on Friday, September 21 at 6pm and kids will use the finish line chute. Registration online and at the footbridge in Center Plaza prior to the race.
Leadman has teamed up with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon to create a Corporate Relay Challenge to support the local nonprofit. The event offer complimentary registration for service members, veterans and their dependents. Visit Leadman for more information.
