St. Charles Free Summer Sunday Concerts-Uncle Lucius
St. Charles Summer Sunday concert with Uncle Lucius (southern rock).
Uncle Lucius is Southern rock combining blues, country and gospel music. All four members grew up in different parts of Texas, each finding their own way to Austin in an attempt to pursue music full time. The band includes Kevin Galloway on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Hal Vorpahl on bass, Mike Carpenter on lead guitar and vocals, and Josh Greco on drums and percussion. Their second album Pick Your Head Up in 2009 garnered critical praise. The band's live shows have earned them an ever-growing audience for their high energy experience while on stage. Uncle Lucius has played renowned venues throughout the U.S. including B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City, Maple Leaf in New Orleans and numerous locations in Austin such as Threadgill's World Headquarters, The Continental Club and Antone's.
