Alt Group: Works on Paper exhibition at Atelier 6000 for March 2010. The exhibition will feature hand-pulled prints and mixed media paintings that showcase the groups contemporary sensibility of ten unique yet compatible styles; from abstract to narrative to non-objective; all artists in the group have a common thread in their work that brings them together.
March Workshops: Printmaking and Prints Work with various tools and build your skills in this broad survey of the methods, techniques and stategies of printmaking processes. Color Reduction Printmaking, Tuesday, March 30-April 13, 5:30-8pm, $70 One printing block is used for all stages of print, each in succession. An exacting process, there is no going back as each round of cutting alters the image. Bring an image to transfer to your plate.
