  • BendBroadband Wi-Fi Hot Spot in the Old Mill District

    The Old Mill District is a BendBroadband Wi-Fi Hot Spot. 

    To get started, simply select "BendBroadband" from the network window and click "Connect".  You then have two options to access the service.

    Option 1: If you are a BendBroadband Internet subscriber, Wi-Fi access is free. Just enter your BendBroadband.com (or BendCable.com) email address and password and you'll be logged into the network at no charge. If you've forgotten your email address or password, or you need to request a new address, please go to https://secure.bendbroadband.com/email/ or call BendBroadband 541.382.5551.

    Option 2: If you're visiting or you're not a BendBroadband Internet subscriber, you can still access the Wi-Fi service by entering a secure credit card payment on the BendBroadband login page that you'll see when you open your web browser. Once authorized, the unlimited Wi-Fi connection is ready to use at the Old Mill District Wi-Fi Hot Spot.

    $5.95 per day or $19.95 per week - For non-customers.

     

  • Sand Volleyball Courts in the Old Mill District

  • Summer Art Camps at Art Station

    Art Station

    The camps are designed to help children build skills in ceramics, painting, drawing, sculpture and collage.  Each week offers four different camps from Mondays to Thursdays.  Numerous classes for adults also available on-line.

    Classes are designed for ages 2-4 (with parent), 4-6, 6-8, and 8-12 with one wheel throwing class for ages 12-16.  Summer classes run June 21-September 2 from 9am-12pm or 1-4pm.

  • Deschutes Dash Weekend Sports Festival

    Join us for the sixth annual Deschutes Dash in the most spectator friendly venue in the Pacific Northwest! The Deschutes Dash Weekend Sports Festival will again include a full weekend of activities including a Kid's Splash & Dash on Saturday and a youth triathlon on Sunday.

  • Fly Fishing 101 at Orvis

    Orvis stores will offer free fly casting and fly rod rigging classes every Saturday in July  from 9-10am and 11am-12 noon.  Upon completion of the courses, every participant will receive a $15 Orvis savings card and a certificate for a free membership to Trout Unlimited ($35 value).  All ages and beginning skill levels are welcome to attend the Fly Fishing 101 event.     Volunteers from Trout Unlimited will be on hand at select locations to aid with the instruction. “Fly fishers are a significant part of Trout Unlimited’s membership because of our mission to protect, conserve and restore coldwater fisheries and their watersheds in North America.  Our volunteers are excited to help newcomers learn and enjoy the sport of fly fishing,” said Christopher Anderson, Trout Unlimited.

    Orvis and Trout Unlimited are partnering to offer a new industry event to introduce new fly fishers to the sport of fly fishing – Fly Fishing 101.  Never before has there been such an organized effort across so many locations to give new fly fishers a chance to learn the great sport of fly fishing free of cost.  “Newcomers to fly fishing are often intimidated with casting and other elements of getting started in the sport.  The Fly Fishing 101 event will help participants learn fly fishing basics in an easy, non-threatening way,” said Tory Myler, Orvis Retail and Wholesale Marketing Manager.

    The band recently played at the Winter Olympics Medal Ceremony and will arrive in Bend after playing the Red Rocks in Denver. Opening band is Angel Taylor (soul/pop).
