Deschutes River Montessori School

Deschutes River Montessori School (DRMS) is pleased to be relocating to the Old Mill District this summer! Enrollment is now open for children ages one through five (including kindergarten) for summer 2011 and for the 2011 – 2012 school year. Morning, afternoon, and full day programs are offered with extended care available from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm. Tuition is competitively priced, with discounts available for the children of employees of the Old Mill District.

DRMS is a full member school of the American Montessori Society and employs credentialed Montessori teachers in each classroom. Dr. Maria Montessori, physician and educator, founded Montessori education in 1907. Her child-centered, individualized, and hands on educational philosophy and method, as well as her beautiful classrooms and well-trained teachers, have fueled the growth of Montessori schools, worldwide, for the past century.
