Moonlight, Starlight, Beer Tasting Events set for June
CANOE-KAYAK TOUR SEASON OPENS
BEND, Ore. – Wanderlust Tours opens its Canoe Tour and new Kayak Tour season on the Cascade Lakes as the Cascade Lakes Highway is now open, in addition to already-open Paulina Lake, Clear Lake and others that Wanderlust utilizes for group paddling trips. Wanderlust Tours offers Half-day Canoe and Kayak Tours daily at 9 am and 1:30 pm and Starlight Canoe and Kayak Tours every evening at 8 pm, beginning on June 8, 2009.
The first Moonlight Canoe and Kayak Tours are scheduled for June 5, 6 and 7, 8 pm to midnight, and Brews and Views beer tasting canoe tours are scheduled for every Sunday and Wednesday afternoons at 1:30 pm, beginning June 3.
Half-day Desert Cave Tours, Volcano Tours, Desert GPS Eco-Challenges and Wanderlust’s new Urban GPS Eco-Challenge trips in the Old Mill District are offered daily at 9 am and 1:30 pm.
All tours are led by professional naturalist guides, who bring the area alive with vibrant natural and cultural history interpretation specific to each area visited.
Wanderlust Tours, specializing since 1993 in taking small groups into remote natural areas while maintaining a low impact on the environment, was awarded the OSU Excellence in Family Business Award in 2007.

Journey into the Cascade Range to paddle the glassy waters of a high mountain lake. Naturalist guides highlight tucked-away volcanic coves while watching for otter, mink, osprey and eagles. Includes transportation, canoe/kayak equipment/instruction and guide.

Starlight Canoe and Kayak Tours

Daily, 8 p.m. - midnight
Canoe or kayak at night in the remoteness of the Cascade Range while the stars punctuate the darkness providing illumination on the lake’s surface. With Wanderlust Tours’ naturalist guides, paddle the waters, gaze for shooting stars and listen to the hush of the nighttime forest.
