BEND, Ore. – Wanderlust Tours has created a new Urban GPS Eco-Challenge trip in partnership with the Old Mill District.  The trips will be offered on the pathways and trails along the Deschutes River through the Old Mill District shops and Farewell Bend Park. The Urban GPS Eco-Challenge, available daily at 9 am and 1:30 pm, invites couples, families, and corporate groups to decipher answers to intriguing questions about the area with their teammates that will lead them to their next GPS waypoint, to solve as many clues and visit as many checkpoints as possible – all within about 3 hours.  $65 per person, includes, guide, GPS and instruction, water, and all materials. All ages welcome.

Wanderlust Tours has offered their Desert GPS Eco-Challenge trip out amongst the sagebrush of the High Desert for many years.  The Urban GPS Eco-Challenge offers teams an easy 2-mile foot-course along the sparkling Deschutes River, enjoying views of the Cascades that challenges both the mind and body while using ingenuity and team skills to complete the course.

All tours are led by professional naturalist guides, who bring the area alive with vibrant natural and cultural history interpretation.

Wanderlust Tours, specializing since 1993 in taking small groups into remote natural areas while maintaining a low impact on the environment, was awarded the Oregon State University Austin Excellence in Family Business Award in 2007.
