Open Play & Summer Tournaments

Open Play: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

Men's and women’s open play from 4pm to dusk. A co-ed league for novice/intermediate players starts on May 30, and will run for five weeks on Wednesdays at $100 per team. Summer Tournaments 2012

May 30 - Spring kick off for quads league. Wednesday nights starting at 5:30pm for five straight Wednesdays. Beginner to intermediate play. $100/team.

June 2 - Tournament for All levels co-ed doubles. (9am-3pm)

June 16 - Top Gun Tournament advanced men’s and women’s doubles (9am-3pm) and June 17 - Junior’s U18 Tournament. (9am-3pm).

July 21 - Super Spike Tournament for advanced men’s and women’s doubles. (9am-3pm) and July 22 - Tournament for novice men’s and women’s doubles. (9am-3pm)

July 28 - Third annual March Of Dimes 4 on 4 blind draw tournament. No team needed. (9am-3pm). July 29th-men's and women's King/Queen of the beach tournament, doubles format, no team needed. (9am-3pm).

August 4 - Rock Star Tournament for advanced men’s and women’s doubles. (9am-3pm)

Spectators are encouraged to come down and watch the games throughout the day. There is a viewing deck on the south side of the courts, picnic tables and extra sand to play and sit in while watching the volleyball games this summer.

Come enjoy the sand volleyball courts in the heart of the Old Mill District on the Deschutes River. Whether you are a player or a spectator the courts have something for you. Newly added are a viewing deck with picnic tables, a sand box for the kiddos, and volleyball rentals through Central Oregon Visitors Association (next to Vanilla) across the footbridge.

Volleyball players of all levels are welcome to join in the organized play, tournaments and leagues going on throughout the summer. Or, you can grab a group of your friends and a ball and start up your own game whenever a tournament is not on the schedule. Have fun and play hard.
