For all the beer connoisseurs out there, the Old Mill District connects you up with several distinct ways to enjoy all the local fine-craft beers in Bend as well as getting you around to see the sites.

 

Bend Ale Trail -- In celebration of our rich beer culture and Bend’s abundance of craft beer Visit Bend created the Bend Ale Trail. Love beer and plan to visit several breweries this summer in Bend?  Trek the largest beer trail in the West! Pick up your map and get your passport stamped, then head to the Bend Visitor Center downtown to receive your prize… a commemorative Silipint! A flexible silicone pint glass which can be used and reused with endless beverage options.

Bend Brewfest -- The Ninth Annual Bend Brewfest returns on August 16-18, at the Les Schwab Amphitheater. More than 90 distinct craft beers will be available for public tasting.  Be sure to check out the daily schedule for the X-Tap featuring very special, very low production beers from a variety of brewers.  

Bend Brew Bus Take part in a behind the scenes tour of the brewing process and enjoy complimentary samples of delicious beers and appetizers at the final brewery.  Get an insider’s look at four outstanding Bend breweries.  Half-day tours are available daily. 

Bend Art Safari Head out on an amazing, family-friendly Artventure that highlights the cultural contributions of Art in Public Places. Enjoy a tasty local treat and a tour filled with fun facts and stories on the Roundabout Art Route. 

Bend Brew Tour or Vine to Wine Tour Visit local breweries or a working vineyard for a behind the scenes tour, samples and snacks. 

Bend Red Trolley Tours Be sure to look for the red trolley on the streets of Bend this summer. The Bend Trolley is available for private events and offers various tours of the Cascade Lakes, Bend, Brew Tours and more.

Cycle Pub --Bend residents love beer and bicycles!  The combination of these two pastimes is a multi-person bike riding and beer friendly Cycle Pub presented by the Old Mill District.  Look for Cycle Pub in the Old Mill District, special events and around town making stops at local breweries. This 16-person cycle will get you around to all the hot spots in Bend, simply through the pedaling power of the riders.
