All Aboard! Railroads in the High Desert
Railroads transformed the High Desert—its landscape, people and culture. In 1865, there were 3,200 miles of rack west of the Mississippi River. By 1890, that number had reached 70,000.
The exhibition includes historic photographs, artifacts, tools for working on the railroad, works of art and a model train. On view through July 27.
