Sand Volleyball Courts

Come enjoy the sand volleyball courts in the heart of the Old Mill District on the Deschutes River. Whether you are a player or a spectator the courts have something for you. Enjoy  viewing deck with picnic tables and a sand box for the kiddos.

The courts are maintained by the Oregon Volleyball Academy (OVA), a local non-profit volleyball club that provides opportunities for youth athletes to learn the sport of volleyball.  All information regarding the sand courts can be found on their website, at Oregon Volleyball Academy under the Beach Volleyball page.

Volleyball players of all levels are welcome to join in the organized play, tournaments and leagues going on throughout the summer. Or, you can grab a group of your friends and a ball and start up your own game whenever a tournament is not on the schedule. Have fun and play hard.

Open Play

The courts are available for use by the public when no other events are scheduled. Volleyballs can be checked out at the Ticket Mill next to Anthony's.

There are junior leagues and events, as well as adult tournaments, that are conducted throughout the spring and summer. The schedule is maintained on the OVA website and info on the schedule posted at the courts as well.  For specific information, please email the club director at turner@oregonvolleyballacademy.com

Sand Court Rentals

Because of the high demand, and in an effort to provide an opportunity for as many people to play as possible, the courts are not available for rental or reservation by the general public at any time.

Tournaments

Spectators are encouraged to come down and watch the games throughout the day.  There is a viewing deck on the south side of the courts, picnic tables and extra sand to play and sit in while watching the volleyball games this summer.
